I need images asap, do you work with short notice?

It is best to plan for photography well in advance, but I always do my best to accommodate rush work if there is enough time available to prepare and execute the project for professional results. Please send me the details and I'll let you know asap if everything can work out on short order.

Will I need to attend the session?

Not necessarily, but your involvement in person is always welcome. Additional ipads are available to preview and approve captures on location.

Please note that client directed sessions usually limit the number of images created during a session due to the additional collaboration time required.

How much do you charge?

Each project is assessed and quoted individually accoding to scope, complexity and your budget. Typical billings range from $1500 - 10,000+.

Who owns the images, what about ©copyright?

• Image copies are not owned or sold per se, but are licensed for a specific use and time period. Image copyright is retained by Dustin Hoffert o/a Depict Photography - the image creator/ photographer.
• Licensing terms are generated to be equitable for both photographer and client.

Are you able to make alterations to the images?

It's always best to get most everything right at the time of capture, but yes, post production alterations can be made later on if needed.

Fees include one round of basic image development. A second round of requested image alterations may incur additional charges depending on what is needed.

Are you insured?

Yes, fully through Lloyds of London ($5,000,000 AG liability) and WCB Alberta. Documents available if required.

Do you use professional equipment?

Absolutely! I utilize cameras, lenses and lighting of exceptional quality - rendering images of sufficient size, depth and resolution for most any application.

What areas do you serve?

At this point I maintain a service area within western Canada (Alberta, Saskatchewan & British Columbia).

All work and no play?

Not at all!

Mechanica, automotive and many other genres of photography hold my interest (galleries here). In my spare time I enjoy motorcycling, cycling, music and time with my young family.
